Panorama “ Muur der Begoochelingen”

De Muur der Begoochelingen is een panoramisch schilderij van 360 graden. De hoogte is 3 meter, de omtrek is 24 meter en de diameter bijna 8 meter. Het is gereedgekomen in 1995 en sindsdien 5 maal geëxposeerd:

De Muur der Begoochelingen is een verbeelding van het cyclische, in het bijzonder de vicieuze cirkel van denken en emotie. Uitgangspunt is de vier windstreken.

          Oost:     hoop, verlangen en verwachting.
          Zuid:      tijdelijk geluk
          West:     teloorgang en verdriet.
          Noord:   wanhoop en inertie.

The Wall of Illusions is an imagination of the cyclic, in particular the vicious circel of thinking and emotion. It is based on the four points off the compass.

          East;     hope, desire and expectation.
          South:   temporary happiness.
          West:    loss and sorrow.
          North:   despair and inertion.
